He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin Boydstun and Clara Hazel Boydstun (Meek); and his siblings, Dorothy Louise, Charles Calvin and Olen Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Lynne Boydstun (Powell); his sons, John Leslie Boydstun and Calvin Edward Boydstun (Rebecca Emily Forsyth); his grandchildren, Kaylee (Matthew Kendell), Abby (Nathan Petersen), Benjamin Joseph, Tyler (Olivia McPheeters), Alexander John Boydstun and Sofia Claire Boydstun; and his sister Thelma Lee (Donald Stacy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
