He is survived by: his pet Bella; his wife Connie of Haltom City, TX; his son James "Jimmy" Harper (Gwen) of Fort Worth, TX; his stepchildren, Wes Clayton (Juli) of Cleburne, TX and Stacey Clayton of Fort Worth, TX; his brother Mike Harper (Debbie) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Ashley Clayton, Bradley Gill, Blake Gill, Caitlin Harper, Mason Harper, Eleanor Sullivan, Carson Clayton, Brooke Clayton and Gracie Clayton; and his niece Kelly Butts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas.
