He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hailey and Retha Hailey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Susan Hailey Wallach (Justice Mike Wallach) and James D. Hailey Jr.; and his grandchildren, Holley Hailey Prescott (Jermy), Landon Wallach (Kim), Tyler Wallach (Jenny), Carter Hailey Kangerga (Andrew), Kendall Hailey Peters (DJ) and Hunter Hailey. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
