He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baird and Marie Baird. He is survived by: his wife Connie Baird; his daughters, Candace Baird (Christian), Jordan Del Hierro (Nolan) and Heather Easterling (Dustin); his sisters, Valerie Hubbard (Van) and Adrienne Stokes (Rick); his granddaughter Collins Jones; his father-in-law Joe Henry; and his brother-in-law Mike Henry (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation made to Medical City Dallas NICU in Derek's honor.
