She is survived by: her friend Jay Taylor; her nephew Jay Brummett of Austin, TX; her great-nephews, Marc Meadows (Marea) of Fort Worth, TX, Jay Meadows (Toni) of Aledo, TX, Jon Sinclair (Sheri) of Colleyville, TX, Andrew Brummett (Jessica) of Austin, TX and Ben Brummett (Staci) of Austin, TX; and her great-niece Elizabeth Behncke (Matt) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 13 great, great nieces and nephews.

It was Claudia Brummett's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to: Church of the Holy Comforter (http://www.holycomfortercleburne.orq); or the Ouray County Historical Society (http://www.ouraycountyhistoricalsocietv.orq); or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch (http://www.calfarley.org).

“When I met Claudia, I learned she had roomed a short while with my great Aunt Claudia (Attebury) in Amarillo, when they were young ladies. Both Claudia’s were influential and larger than life as many Texas Panhandle folks are. Both ladies will be greatly missed by many. Rest in Peace Claudia. Carol Bernhard, Austin, Texas.”
