He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Burnett and Marjorie Burnett; his former wife June Burnett; and his sister Betty (Jim Davis). He is survived by: his former wife June Hoelscher; his wife Jo Jo Burnett; his daughters, Melanie (Mark Moseley), Lisa Hall, Jennifer (Rick Vannoy), Carolyn Burnett and Rebecca (Mark Ritchie); his grandsons, Jeremy Hall, Justin Vannoy, Nathan Vannoy, Rick Vannoy and Brandon Ritchie; and also Kenneth Fanning. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two nieces, and three cousins.
