She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Albert Striedel and Elsie Clara Kirchner Striedel; her husband Danny Wayne Strain; her brothers, Johnnie "Sonny" Striedel, Norman Striedel and Dalton Striedel; and her sister-in-law Donna Strain Berger (Darryl).
She is survived by: her children, Sherie Dickson (Bubba) of Anderson and Darren Strain (Lindsay) of College Station; her granddaughters, Shelby Patty (Tyler) of Anderson, Jordan Commander (Chris) of Houston, Hadyn Strain of Denton and Danielle "Dani" Strain of College Station; her great grandchild Sailor Blayke Commander of Houston; her siblings, Roland Striedel (Patsy) of Cuero, Charles Striedel (Joyce) of Yoakum, Anthony "Butch" Striedel (Mary Ann Striedel) of Yoakum, Barbara Warzecha of Cuero and Susan Wade (Joel) of Waco; and her pet Ellie Mae. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
