She is survived by: her husband James B. Shaffer; her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Marelee Shaffer; her daughter Susan Shaffer; and her brother Robert Pitt.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (2901 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77801).
