He was predeceased by: his parents, Cullen Gaylord and Edith Allen Gaylord Harbour; his stepfather Glenn Harbour; his daughter Kay Aerts Miller; and his son-in-law Brad Aerts.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Cox Gaylord; his children, Alan Ray Gaylord (Robbin) of Baytown and Lecel Gaylord Baxter (William) of College Station; his son-in-law Clyde Miller; and his grandchildren, Hannah Aerts Long (Casey) of Denver, Sarah Aerts Cunningham (Ben) of Memphis, Grace Baxter of Richmond, Virginia, Jacob Baxter, John Baxter and Hope Baxter of College Station.
