She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Buehring and Alvin Buehring; and her brother Charles Buehring (Mary Ellen). She is survived by: her husband Monte Carmichael, Jr.; her children, Keith (Jana), Kelly (Matt) and Ken (Kristen); her grandchildren, Harrison (Sydnee), Hudson, Hayden and Maci; and her sister Linda Kay Stollman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church in College Station, First Baptist Church in Wharton, or First Baptist Church in Gustine.
