She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Coke Howard and John Allen Higgins Smith; her spouse Pat Yates Spillman; her son-in-law Terry Wansley; and her siblings, Joel Howard Smith, Allen Smith Jr., Kathryn McMillen and Margaret Killingsworth.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Spillman (Jeff Margolies), Jane Spillman Wansley (Joel Weinthal) and Pat Spillman Jr. (Toni Hennike); and her granddaughters, Caroline Margolies and Hannaka Spillman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dallas Heritage Village, the Dallas Museum of Art, or the charity of your choice.
