A vigil service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillier Funeral Home (4080 Hwy 6, College Station, TX 77845). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (2541 Earl Rudder Fwy, College Station, TX 77845). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2801 Old Kurten Rd, Bryan, TX 77803). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (2801 Old Kurten Rd, Bryan, TX 77803). During his retirement, and especially during the pandemic, John spent countless hours in his wood shop (where every tool was in its proper place) building furniture and other items, which fill the homes of his family and will be lasting memories of his creative talents.
