She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Richard and Ada Grayer (Jodie Nelson); her brothers, Roland Grayer, Joe Grayer, Willie Grayer, Leon Grayer and James Grayer of John Grayer, C. G; her stepbrother Norman Tisdale; and her sisters, Roberta Grayer and Sallie Delores Grayer.
She is survived by: her spouse Jodie Nelson; her children, Leroy Thomas (Virgia) of College Station and Delores Haynes of College Station, Texas; her grandchildren, Roderick Thomas (Stephanie), NaTasha Thomas, Daemon White, Daren White, Travis Thomas, Taylor Jones (Monterrio Jr.), Kavia Thomas and Dematria Goffney (Creighton); her siblings, Edward Grayer, Ann Whiting (Warren) of College Station, Mary Clark (Albert) of College Station and Linda Grayer-Jones (Bruce) of Houston, Texas; and her sister-in-law Betty Tisdale.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the College Hill Missionary Baptist Church (712 Churchill St, College Station, TX 77840).
