She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich "Fritz" Mehl and Kuni Mehl. She is survived by: her spouse Retired Major Richard Jones; her daughters, Claudia Jones and Jamie Thomas (Brent); her grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Teresa), Dylan Jones and Riley Thomas; her great grandchild Cora Smith; and her siblings, Klaus Mehl and Anne Dowerg.
