He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nunn Jones and Lula Mary Floyd Jones; his wife Jimmye Dell Jones; and his brothers, Floyd Milton Jones and Charles Brenning Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Marcus Owen Jones (Karen) of Richmond, TX, Melody McClean (Herb) of Richmond, TX, James Keith Jones (Sharon) of Bullard, TX and Jeffrey Kyle Jones (Dee Ann) of Bryan, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
