He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Francis Elrod Pitts and Helen Argro Marbut Pitts; his siblings, Marbut "Buddy" Pitts and Virginia Stewart; and his daughter Darla Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife June Pitts of College Station; his children, Terri Klehm (James) of Katy, TX, Mandy Shepard (Dave) of Richmond, TX, Daphne Jurries (Tony) of Round Rock, TX, Dana Lang (Everett) of Houston, TX, Robert Ewing of College Station and David Pitts (Mardi) of Pennsylvania; his niece Helen Bradshaw; and also Tuta.
