Debra Toney Capps Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2024, at the age of 70, Debra Toney Capps of College Station, Texas, born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Lee Toney; her grandparents, Else Mae Hunt and Benjamin Ammon Hunt; and her aunt Dean Shell. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin William Capps and Eric Thomas Capps; her husband Jug; her close friends, Marla and Cal Calvin; and her adoptive daughter Loren Burns.
Debbie and Jug established the Capps Family Firefighters Education Foundation in 2002, and she was involved heavily with the Brayton Fire School at Texas A&M University.
