“Danny and I met at the University of Illinois in 1979, where we were working on our Ph.D. degrees, he was finishing his and I was starting mine. We became friends and remained friends throughout our careers. He was a trusted confidant during the "Farm Crisis" when asked for advice. He was a valued colleague as we worked on the "Farm Financial Standards Recommendations", and he was a dear friend! May God welcome his soul into His Kingdom and comfort his family during this difficult time.”

He was innovative in creating a comprehensive and intensive mutltiday workshop focused on helping ag producers improve their managerial skills. It has been an outstanding success with participants consistently indicating how the program had enhanced their financial performance. He was a friend and a valued colleague and will be sorely missed.”
