She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Beran and Bessie Beran (Sablatura); her husband Edwin; her daughter Cheryl Wyatt; her grandson Christopher Wyatt; and her sisters, Edith Jones, Mary Anne Stasny and Dorothy Beran.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Hein (Alice), Cathy Smock (Mark) and Tim Hein; her grandchildren, Chad Wyatt, Courtney Barrett (John), Colby Wyatt (Jenn), Zachary Smock (Crystal), Matthew Smock (Lindsey) and Jordan Gerules (Joseph); her stepgrandson Joshua O'Neal; her sister Elizabeth Wymola (Alfred); and also Bob Wyatt. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, Texas Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
