We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 93, Ann Metzger Scott of College Station, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ann Metzger leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Johnson and Raymond William Metzger; her siblings, Jean Metzger Binns Rateliff, William Metzger and Robert Metzger; and her daughter Karen Scott Ponce.
She is survived by: her children, Bob (Laurie), Sandy (Dave), Susie and Ann. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven wonderful great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory (3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Wellborn Cemetery (6783 Victoria Ave, College Station, TX 77845).
