He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Bernard Boubel, Sr. and Hilda Staples Boubel; and his sisters, Elaine, Gloria and Sue.
He is survived by: his stepfather Paul Knight; his wife Doreene; his children, Jeannine Smith, Paige Carlin, Ben and Kandy Boubel; and his grandchildren, Gloria, Alex, Adam, Hannah, Blake and Bennett.
