With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Fern DeCuir Richter of College Station, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles G. DeCuir and Ferna McCloy Decuir; and her brother Charles M. DeCuir (Alice). She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Richter; her children, Laura Richter of College Station and Charles Frederick "Rick" Richter of Driggs, Idaho; her sisters-in-law, Darlene Richter Joyce (Joe) of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Deanna Richter of Ledyard, Iowa; her nieces and nephews, Edith Christine DeCuir of Houston, Billie Jo Joyce Louwagie (Thad) and Patrick Joyce (Jessica) of Emmetsburg, Iowa; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kylee Jo Hoffman, Carson Hoffman and Tate Joyce of Emmetsburg; her extended family, Annette Bie, Linzy Sakellrides and Taylor Bie of Largo, Florida.; and also Laura.
