She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora Meryle Larance Sikes and Thomas Tilden Sikes; her husband Malcolm Downey; and her son Kenney Downey. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Pam Downey of Stevensville, Montana; her granddaughters, Kelly Downey-Stewart (Trey) of Whitt, Kerry Slayton (Buddy) of Coleman and Kody Downey of Missoula, Montana; her great grandchildren, Nate Slayton and Bode Slayton; her sister Thelia Kinsey (Don) of Oklahoma; and her sisters-in-law, Doris (Bob Dehnel) and Nancy (Mike Berry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Brown Ranch Cemetery, 4619 CR 300, Gouldbusk, Texas 76845.
