She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McClellan and Tulia Skelton McClellan; her husband Jerry Glenn Thomas; and her siblings, Marie McClellan Anderson and Floyd McClellan.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Thomas (Annie) of Midland, Gary Thomas (Donna) of McKinney and Mike Thomas (Cyndi) of Forney; and her grandchildren, Garrett Thomas, Jarrad Thomas, Luke Thomas, Brittany Oakley and Kyndra Britt. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested in memory of Wanell to the donor's charity of choice.
