He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Gonzales and Henrietta Gonzales; his stepson Chris Holguin; and his siblings, Ruben, Alice and Vera.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Gonzales of Coleman; his children, Wally Gonzales, Jr. of Abilene, Ruth Anne Jones of Abilene, Joseph Gonzales of Fort Worth and Stephen Gonzales of Austin; his stepson Stacy Dela Rosa of Coleman; and his siblings, Paul and Emma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
