With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sydney Cosby (Coleman, Texas), born in Childress, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Leo Smith and Elizabeth Williams Smith; her husband Jack Cosby; and her brothers, Jerry Smith and Jackie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Townzen (Shalor) of Columbus, Carole Cosby of Woodson and Amy Roberts (Archie) of Coleman; her sisters, Judy Johnson (A. J.) of Childress and Pat Swindell (Gary) of Childress; her sisters-in-law, Lawanna Smith of Lubbock, Charlene Smith of Childress and Lameda Batten of Ennis; her grandchildren, Dade Cosby (Laura), Kandys Mills Dunn (Lance), Tyler Mills (Krysten), Grayson Townzen (Candace), Travis Townzen, Josh Roberts (Toetu), Madison Roberts Reaser (Justin) and Meghan Roberts; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Emily, Daniel, Wade, Abbey, Aaden, Damian, Emery, Sydney, Hayes, Emerson and Stetson; and also, Shalor Townzen and Archie Roberts.
