He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carroll Hinds and Addie Lee Hopper Hinds; his grandson Haidon Hinds; and his nephew Lance Hinds. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Heather Dennis (Josh) of Pennsylvania, Landon Hinds of Brownwood, Sheridan Jones of Glen Cove, Braden Dennis (Kate) of South Carolina, Camden Dennis (Mackenzie) of Pennsylvania, Ryan Broadway of Colorado, Thad Hinds of Brownwood, Ronyn and Sagan Jones of Glen Cove; his siblings, David (Pam Hinds) of Coleman, Phillip (Amy Hinds) of Coleman, Laura and Ral Dees of Glen Cove; and his girlfriend Tamara Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made in memory of Steve to a charity of the donor's choice.
