She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Ruby Smith; her husband Alfred Chambers; her siblings, Anita Thomas, Wena Drinkard, Molly Sears, Fernoye and Audis Smith; and her cousin Lettie B. Perry.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Renza Smith Rogers of Watauga; her children, Alfreda Shepard (Glenn) of Ballinger, Phil Chambers (Judy) of Coleman, Donna Bailey (Rod) of Highland Village and Tena James (Steve) of Hillsboro; and her grandchildren, Jodie, Bo Digby, Aimee, Joseph Bunting, Joylynn, Chris Mackey, Randy, Erin Chambers, Rebecca Bailey, Celina Chambers, Christopher Bailey, Clynt James, Christen, Andrew Rogers and Courtney Mears. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
