He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Malcolm Edmiston and Mary Lee Pryor; and his brothers, Elton Dwayne "Buddy" Edmiston, Dennis Keith Edmiston and Avro.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Edmiston; his brother Gayland Edmiston (Teri); and his daughters, Vicki Edmiston, Laurie Richards (Chris Peppers) and Ronda Edmiston (Calvin Davenport). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
