He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Everett Bedell and Lela Lometa Bairrington Bedell; and his sister Joyce Smith. He is survived by: his children, Heaven Bedell of Brownwood, Jessie Bedell of Fort Bliss and Evan Bedell of Camp Humphreys; his close friend Kay King of Wingate; and his siblings, Doris McIver (Royce) of Abilene, John Wayne Anderson (Linda) of Big Spring, Tommy Lynn Bedell (Linda) of Navasota and Everett Bedell (Brenda) of Georgetown.
