She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alvie Lee and Nydia Whitehead (Wright); her brothers, Vernon, Brad and Clay; her granddaughter Nova; her children, Chris Slate (Cathy) of Pipe Creek, Johnny Slate (Sandra) of San Angelo, Texas., Kaye McKee (Rick) of Coleman and Rebecca Eidson (James) of Abilene, Texas.; her grandchildren, Celeste Schaefer (Quincy), Natalie McKnight (Dustin), Brad Slate (Dee Ann), Kristen Lyons (Ben), SuJo McKee, Ricka McKee (Daisy), Sam Eidson (Blair) and Ali Eidson (Taos Hays); and her brother Harvey Whitehead (Pam) of Wasilla, AK.. She was also cherished by four children, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
