She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarito Rodriguez and Aurora Rodriguez (Rodriguez); her daughter Benita Vasquez; her siblings, Jimmy Luera and Josephine De; her children, Carol Vasquez and Felix Vasquez; her grandsons, Venito and Joey Cervantes; and her great grandchildren, Julie Patocka, John Diego Salazar and Tego Hernandez.
She is survived by: her husband Alfredo Ruiz; and her children, Diane Escobedo (Pablo) of Oklahoma, Maria Lowrey (Kenneth) of Ballinger, Norma Cervantes (Lyndell) of Coleman, Manuel Vasquez (Ashley) of Abilene, Roy Vasquez of Indiana, Terry Vasquez of Coleman, Susie Vasquez of Coleman, Adriana Resendez of Weatherford, Angela Resendez of Sweetwater, Luisa Cruz of Sweetwater and Rita Vasquez of San Antonio. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
