She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. New and Velma Alamae Herrin New; her husband Loyd Martin Franklin; and her siblings, Gene New, Darrell New, Dean New, Virginia Dickinson and Pat Henderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Garry Cox (Deborah) of Coleman and Larry Cox of Carlsbad; her stepsons, Floyd Franklin (Scarlet) of Crandall and Tony Franklin (Treva) of Sunnyvale; her grandchildren, Ricky Cox (Adelle), Bobby Cox (Kelly), Alisha Boone (Clark), Jeanette Derrick (Monty), Matt Cox (Tara), Harmony Stephens (Justin), Lindsey Gilles (Daniel), Taylor Watson (Matt) and Tyler Franklin (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Aislyn Cox, Addison Cox, Trent Cox, Garrett Cox, Hayden Cox, Dakota Cox, Marlee Boone, Ryder Boone, Brayden Derrick, Brea Derrick, Bailee Cox, Rylan Cox, Cooper Cox, Dylan Booze, Addison Booze, Dylan Stephens, Haleigh Mitchell, Mallory Mitchell, Jordyn Mitchell, Hunter Watson, Ryker Watson and Arabelle Watson; her siblings, Glynn New (Trudy) of Midland, Nadine Nunley (Sam) of Maypearl and June Kinsey (Dennis) of Artesia; and her sisters-in-law, Lavonne Lewis and Linda Applegate. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
