It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Hemphill of Coleman, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wade Hemphill and Anne Elizabeth Weatherred Hemphill; his wife Sue Wilson; and his son-in-law Jim Pool. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Edington of Coleman, Jamie Pool of Stephenville and Charlie Hemphill of Valera; his grandchildren, Jim Bob Edington (Elizabeth) of Coleman, Trey Pool (Luci) of Weatherford, Hayes Edington of Kyle and Taylor Pool of Stephenville; his great grandchildren, Jeffery Edington (Selena), Sadie Edington, Lani Pool and Laci Pool; and his sister Ruth Ann Hemphill Taylor of Coleman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
