He is survived by: his children, Cayden Steffey of College Station, Connor Steffey of Coleman and Jaylie Steffey of Coleman; his parents, Angie Monroe (Dewayne) of Valera and Mike Steffey of Austin; his siblings, Brandi Slate (Travis) of Coleman and Dillon McKee of California; and his nieces, Parker Slate and Quinn Slate of Coleman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
