She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus Wyman Shores and Reba Lee Rosson Shores; her husband Claud Coats; her daughter Melinda Coats; and her grandson Bud Coats.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Coats (Vickie) of Gouldbusk and Deral Coats of Coleman; her grandchildren, Claudette Ratliff (Steve), Calisha Garrett (Glen), Dustin Coats (Erica), Celeste Everts (Ronnie), Calan Wills (Becky), Carlee Branch (Ty), Alicia Sanders (Tracy), Mitzi Sartain (Travis), Lauren Crabb (Gabe) and Dawn Ray; and her caregiver Jackie Copeland. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews.
