He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Slayton Strength and William James "Bill" Strength; his brother Johnny Strength; his granddaughter Faith Serenity Fletcher; and his son-in-law Edd Fletcher.
He is survived by: his children, Charity Diane Fletcher of Brownwood, Farrahh Louelle Chapman (David) of Mico and Stony Wade Strength (Kimberly) of Coleman; his grandchildren, Daniel Haynes, Caitlyn Mair (Blaik), Trinity Fletcher, Brendan Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Rowdy Farris, Courtney Strength, Harlee Strength, Brayden Watts, Hailey Watts and Paisley Watts; and his siblings, Ginger Walker (David) of Brownwood, Betty Beal of Coleman, Delbert Strength of Talpa and Nathan Strength of Coleman. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
