She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Whitaker and Effie Ellis Whitaker; her husband Kenneth Smith (Mickey); her son Ronnie Aycox; and her sisters, Frances Locke and Pauline Morrison.
She is survived by: her siblings, George G. Whitaker (Martha) of Coleman and Mary Lisenby of Dothan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
