He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyce B. Dees and Lila Conn Dees; his spouse Jatis Perryman; and his brothers, Doyce Dees and Barry Neil Dees.
He is survived by: his children, Lynne Dees (William R. Crawford) of Bedford, Layle Dees of Coleman and Eddie John Dees, Jr. of Coleman; his grandson Joshua Shane Dees of Fort Worth; his sister Judith Ann Lieberman (Joseph) of Whitehouse Station; and his sister-in-law Jan Henderson of Spring.
