She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Dean; her son Tyler Dean; her father Charles Wheeler; her uncle Cecil Felty; and her grandmother Vera Felty.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Dean of Coleman and Jessica Wilburn (Thomas) of Coleman; her mother Sandra Dean of Coleman; her brother Robert Ely (Shannon) of Arlington; her grandchildren, Skyler Squyers, Tai Squyers, Haydn Dean, Riley Squyers and Azlie Squyers; her uncle Betty Witt of Coleman; her mother-in-law Betty Dean of Houston; her sisters-in-law, Kay Medina of Houston and Roseann Dean of Conroe; her significant other Dike Hunter of Coleman; and also, Dwayne Felty and Jonita Felty of Haskell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
