He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dobbins-Watson and Clem Watson; his wife Linda Joyce Watson; his sisters, Patsy Lowrey and Peggy Dobbins; and also Anjanette Watson.
He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Watson Jr. (Isabel) of Fort Worth and Rachel Watson (Billy Nelson) of Brownwood; his siblings, Richard, Douglas Watson (Vickie) of Coleman, Thomas Watson (Janna) of Coleman, TX, Paula Wilson (Danny) of Powderly, TX and Kathy McGee (Corky) of Santa Anna, TX.; and his grandchildren, Emily Watson, Logan Watson, Tre Pabon and Payton Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
