He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Alfred Cornett (Bud); his brother Randy Cornett; and his son Christopher Cornett. He is survived by: his parent Willie Vesta Pearce Cornett; his wife Vickie Cornett; his children, Shelley Melissa Hodges of Austin and Kevin Cornett of Mineral Wells; his grandson Evan Cornett; and his sister Rita Jones of Lubbock.
