He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Weldon Wright and Helen Pauline Thompson Wright; his wife Barbara Wright; his children, Misti Landers and Michael Wright; and his brother Jerry Wright.
He is survived by: his son Scott; his children-in-law, Sheryl Wright of Kermit and Kevin Landers of Coleman; and his grandchildren, Brandon (Tara Wright), Bradley Wright (Cara Feeney) of New Braunfels, Kassie (Mason Wright), Kristen (Garrett Flowers), Taylor Armstrong of Coleman, Jason (Alicia Singleton), Dustin (Cassandra Henderson) and Brian (Nikki Ditto). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
