He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Alvey and Ora Lee Satterfield Alvey. He is survived by: his brother Ivan Dale Alvey (Barbara) of Bangs; his nephew Eddie Lee Alvey; his niece Julie Fikes; his great-niece Cynthia Folley; and his great-nephew Tyler Alvey.
