She is survived by: her husband Robert Townsend; her sister Gail Arlene Peck; her daughters, Cathy Guynes (Scott) of Lexington, Sonya Denman (Jeff) of DeRidder and Cindy Cochran (Kenneth Sr.) of Anacoco; her grandchildren, Melissa Kirkner (Erik), Michael Guynes (Cheryl), Laura Clark (Harley), Thomas "Pete" Elder (Jennifer), Michelle Wanjura (Paul), Tammi Stafford (Jon'), Brittney Welch (Shawn) and Kenneth Cochran, Jr. (Rayne); and her siblings-in-law, Fred Townsend of Alabama, Dean Townsend (Houng) of Texas, Millie Townsend of Texas and Pat Simpson of Alabama. She is also survived by twenty nine great grandchildren.
