With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin Bailey of Coldspring, Texas, born in Diboll, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bailey and Elaine Cockrell Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Bailey; his children, Kevin Bailey, Benjamin Bailey, John Bailey (Bonita), Keith Bailey (Crystal), Rhonda Scogin (Mitchell), Buddy Bailey (Crissy), Samantha Vestal Bryant, Sherry Lacy (Greg), Scott Vestal (Kathrine) and Steven Vestal; and his siblings, Jonathan Wayne Bailey, Teresa Bailey, Regina Carter (Joe) and Patricia Alexander. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coldspring - Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (14250 TX-150, Coldspring, TX 77331). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery (4020 Farm to Market Rd 945 N, Coldspring, TX 77331).
