He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juanita and Albert Lee Embry, Sr.; his daughter Lanita Rose Embry; his wife Sammie Gilliam Embry; his daughters, Mariah Shelton (Stephen) and Jo Anne Brod (Billy Emmons); his sisters, Shirley McDaniel (Jimmy), Linda Feck and Faye Lavergne (Donavan); his grandchildren, Whitney Fulcher (Wayne), Melanie Smith (Josh) and Douglas Chaudoir; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Weston Smith and Marlee Thornton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
