It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tyre Hancock of Clyde, Texas, born in Lawn, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Hancock and Catherine Hancock (Fleming); his wife Jacque Wilkinson; his daughter Phyllis Burnett; and his sister Sandra Hancock.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Crawford of Abilene; his son-in-law Ray Burnett of Allen; his siblings, James Hancock (Marie) of San Rafael, California and Mary Black (Bill) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Jeff Crawford, Kristin Burnett Gee, Dr. Garrett Burnett and Andy Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Les, Mayson, Henry Gee and Judson Crawford. He is also survived by special friend, Jan Cook and many nieces and nephews.
