Rocky Wayne Baker Obituary

Rocky Wayne Baker passed away on December 11, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 2, 1962, the son of Bill and Billie Baker in Torrance, CA. Soon after his birth, his family moved to Clyde, TX, where he called home.

He was preceded by his parents, Brothers Ozelle Baker and Daniel Baker. He is survived by his son Rocky Wayne Baker Jr. of Clyde, TX, daughter Sheana Baker of Denton Valley, daughter Jessica and husband Michael Hodnet of Clyde, TX, Brothers Bobby Baker, Thomas Baker, and Wayne and wife Sherry Baker, sister Diane and husband Sammy Ramos all of Clyde, TX, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his four-legged best friend he called "Dog.".

Rocky loved fishing and campfires. He enjoyed his family the most. Growing up with his brothers and sister, they were always together. He took great pride in being part of his children's lives. He loved being a grandpa to his grandchildren. If you see one brother, you will surely see them all. The family was never far away.

Sherry Baker is a blessing to our family and was a true blessing to Rocky. Sherry is an extraordinary person. She will always have a special place in our hearts for having the compassion and courage to make sure he was with his family in his final days.

He was a loving brother, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
