It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Rex Scott (Clyde, Texas), who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Dovie Allie Scott (Colcleasure); his wife Helen Maxine Rogers; his son Richard Scott; his brothers, Billie Jack and Elward Hulen Scott; and his daughter-in-law Minnie Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, Maurice Scott (Linda) of Clyde and Kyle Scott of Clyde; his siblings, Bennie Lincoln Scott (Pat) of Burnet, Peggy Pierce of Brownwood and Robbie Winkles of DeLeon; and his grandchildren, Shannon Phillips (Billy) of Clyde, Terri Alba (Jay) of Abilene, Jori McNew of Katy, Leeanne Wheeler (Jason) of Clyde and James Scott (Dow Scott) of Keller. He is also survived by seven great granddaughters, three great grandsons, three great-great granddaughters and three great-great grandsons.
